On Saturday, because I didn’t want to hang out with Sean and his friend while they talked about recording and stuff (just like he doesn’t want to hang out with me and Kris when we talk about knitting), I felt the need to go get a manicure and go shopping.
The manicure was terrible. I think the manicurist was a little inexperienced. I literally could have done better myself. Still, it helped me be mindful of my hands and kept me from picking my cuticles for one more day. (So far so good on that front.)
Then since I was near a yarn shop:

I’ve had a Misti Alpaca jones ever since I saw the first Puff Daddy post, and the worsted is for another baby sweater. IF I EVER START KNITTING AGAIN!
I had fully planned to buy the KitchenAid mixer, and maybe a new coffee grinder. But I just couldn’t do it!

Sean’s Mom gave us money for Xmas, and said she was going to buy us a Kitchenaid mixer, but wanted us to be able to choose something else if we wanted it.
Anyway, since she told us, I’ve been obsessed with wanting a Kitchenaid mixer, even though I don’t know where I’d put it or what I’d use it for. I want, nay, need one now.
But what color? I’m leaning towards white just because it’s cheaper than all the others and color shouldn’t matter. But I also love so many of the other colors. I’m also kind of leaning towards Pistachio. Or red. What color would you get?

Got up and acomplished resolution number 1: I ate breakfast before going to work.
Went to work. Worked and worked and accomplished nothing! Hate everything.
Did not accomplish resolution number 2: Leave at 5:0o p.m. no matter what.
Got home, burned some dinner, poured a drink and started up the computer. Drank drink, read a few blogs and fell asleep.
Woke up. Made The! Most! Boring! Post! Ever!
Resolution number 3 almost acomplished: do something about the manhands. I’ve been religiously moisturizing and trying to not pick at my cuticles. I backslid a little on that one, but have not given up!
